Oliver Peoples Denison Glasses in Cocobolo
The Denison is a popular choice in terms of a retro-style frame that can be worn in any situation and works with most outfits. The rectangular shape with slightly flared temples works well with oval and round faces and while primarily a masculine style, it can suit both genders.
In terms of construction, this frame is made from Oliver People's exclusive 'Cocobolo' patterned acetate. The acetate itself comes from natural cotton and wood fibres, containing no oil-based products. It includes the trademark patterned core-wire where you can see Oliver People's logo - this being the only piece of branding on the external part of the frame. The pins on the front and side of the temple are genuine. Handmade in Italy.
Oliver Peoples is a brand started by Larry Leight in 1987. Leight is and was an optician to the elite Hollywood celebrities, who bought a range of vintage eyewear at an auction. He was inspired by the styles and began creating his own brand, using the name that was mentioned in the vintage eyewear's documents - Oliver Peoples was born. Today, Oliver Peoples focuses on vintage designs but also collaborates with modern designers; keeping it at the forefront of eyewear design.
