Lacoste Glasses

Lacoste glasses are inspired by the brand’s sporting legacy, and each frame includes the instantly recognisable crocodile logo.

Born in 1933, the well-known fashion brand was founded by French tennis player René Lacoste when he invented the lightweight aired-mesh polo shirt. Since then, Lacoste ('The Crocodile') has grown into a worldwide lifestyle brand. Their product line still includes the famous crocodile-logo polo shirts, in addition to shoes, fragrances, watches, and other apparel. The crocodile motif comes from a nickname given to founder René Lacoste by the American press. He had made a bet on a tennis game with the captain of the French Davis Cup team, offering an alligator-skin suitcase as the prize. It was instantly adopted by the public, and the name stuck.

Lacoste glasses feature elegant design features such as vibrant colours, stripes and piping along with fluid shapes. Still innovating, Lacoste has incorporated a unique magnetic clip on some of their glasses and sunglasses. This allows secure attachment of the eyewear while playing sports, without compromising the look of the glasses by having a chain or cord on display. The brand's glasses and sunglasses range is both functional and stylish with frames that are lightweight and comfortable to wear. Their commitment to attention to detail and quality makes their eyewear a popular choice for both fashion-conscious individuals and those who prioritise function and performance.
