Calvin Klein CK 3171S Colour Thin Reading Sunglasses
This product allows the wearer to see comfortably into the distance through main 2/3 of lens area and clearly for reading through the integrated bifocal reading portion. Therefore this sunglass ideal for a number of situations such as reading on the beach, map reading, fishing, whenever you need to read in bright conditions. The reading portion is positioned below your area of distance vision and therefore doesn’t cause restrictions or interfere with general sight.
These wayfarer styles sunglasses are manufactured from a very thin and lightweight material and are extremely comfortable to wear. The lenses provide full UV protection and are of a filter level 3. They are offered in four colours; Black, Blue, Brick and Deep Wine. The Black colour is available in three prescription options +1.50, +2.00 and +2.50. The Blue colour is available in +1.50 only, Deep Wine in +2.00 only and Brick in +2.50 only.
The reading strength or magnification (aka Add) is the same as you would choose for regular untinted reading glasses (such as the CK Folding glasses)
If you are not sure of which strength to choose we recommend the following guide;
- 40 - 50 yrs : +1.50
- 50 - 65 yrs : +2.00
- 65 - over : +2.50
