Born in 1961 in Austin, Texas, Tom Ford initially pursued a career in acting and gained recognition through national advertising campaigns.

However, his true passion for fashion emerged throughout his time in New York, where he studied interior design and worked for prestigious fashion houses.

In 1992, Ford designed his first menswear collection and eventually took on the role of Creative Director for Gucci, overseeing various divisions and leading the brand to unprecedented success. Later, as the Creative Director for Yves Saint Laurent, Ford further solidified his reputation as a visionary in the industry.

In 2004 he launched his eponymous label, expanding into eyewear and cosmetics. Tom Ford's creations embody an international, cultured, and well-travelled aesthetic, attracting strong, intelligent women who embrace their unique style.
