Q:How can you charge such low prices
We are able to undercut high street prices by having much lower overheads and discounts related to our volume sales. We don't have
high street rent and rates, eye test equipment leasing, etc and pass these savings onto you.
Q: Can I be sure your products are authentic?
Yes, all eyewear on our site is 100% authentic. All frames are supplied with paperwork such as authenticity card, care instructions, etc. Many
premium items will have serial numbers printed on frame and outer box. Others such as Chanel have a serial number engraved into the lens. These anti
fraud measures allow you to verify the purchase you have made is 100% authentic. They are also supplied with items such as drawstring bags, cases and
outer boxes. We are supplied direct by manufacturer and the sunglasses or glasses you receive will be purchased from the same source as those supplied to
boutiques on Rodeo Drive - LA, Sloane St - London and to Opticians worldwide. Brands including Chanel, Prada, Bvlgari, RayBan and Oakley are supplied by
Luxottica. Brands including Gucci, Dior, Marc Jacobs are supplied by Safilo. To view some of the above authenticity cards and serial numbers click here
Q: What is your returns policy if I don't like the sunglasses when they arrive?
We recommend that you try to visit a retail store in order to try the frame for size and are sure that you are happy with how it looks. Then, you can
purchase online to make a saving. However, in the case that you are unhappy for any reason we accept returns for refund. Please email info@pretavoir.co.uk to
notify us of reason for return. Then, post using Royal Mail Special Delivery or another premium postal service which allows tracking of package and requires
signature upon receipt. We do not refund your return postage costs. The frame must arrive at our office within 7 days of you having received. It must be unworn
and in perfect condition. It must also be complete with al accessories such as box, case, bag, authenticity cards. Once received and inspected we will refund your credit card.
Q: What is your returns policy if I don't like prescription eyewear when they arrive?
We will be happy to refund the frame cost, however, the cost of prescription lenses cannot be refunded. However, if you return is due to an error or fault with
frame or lens then a full refund of purchase cost will be made.
Q: How do I get my prescription for glasses?
Once you've had an eye examination at your local opticians you should be issued with a prescription by law. If your Optician does not give you your prescription
as standard ask to have a copy. They will be happy to provide. Of course you might already have a prescription from a previous sight test and providing it is still
valid you can use that - prescriptions are normally valid for two years from the date of the eye examination. If you have any difficulty please call or email and we can guide you further.
Q: Does Pretavoir supply bifocal or varifocal lenses?
Pretavoir does not currently supply bifocal or varifocal glasses. Although there are some online suppliers who will supply these lenses it is the opinion of our Optician
that these lenses should be purchased from your prescribing Optician/Optometrist. However, we can supply 'frame only' which you can have fitted with lenses locally.
Q. How can I pay for my purchase?
Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, and Maestro debit cards and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the
Site from time to time. We use Royal Bank of Scotland WorldPay which has an exemplary reputation. Your credit card details will be encrypted and safe. All credit/debit
card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Pretavoir, we will
not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We also reserve the right to take advice from Worldpay on reliability of your payment.
There is an exception in the case of Chanel and Tiffany eyewear. As part of our agreement with these companies all orders must be made in person either in store or by
telephone. They will not allow automated purchases. Therefore please call our office to purchase.
Q. Can pretavoir supply items not on website?
In the case that you can't your item it may be that the product is still to be added to our site or is a discontinued model. We are always happy to answer queries and/or
find just what you are looking for.
Q. What is the length of warranty on frames?
All our products are supplied with a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. In the unlikely event that you have an after sales issue please call or office.

Q. How much is Postage and Packaging?
Shipping is Free on all UK Orders. Please see below for shipping outwith of UK.
Q: How long will my order take?
If your sunglasses/spectacles are in stock they will be dispatched on same day (if order received before 3pm) Delivery times are as follows;
If we are out of stock you will receive an email advising when delivery should be expected.
This would usually add 4-5 days to the above times. If the length of wait is unacceptable then a
refund will be arranged within minutes. In the case of prescription spectacles, many lower
prescriptions can be processed on same day. Others may require lenses to be ordered from our
suppliers and please allow 1-2 days extra. If you require any further information with regards to the above please call or email our office.
